Co-Chairs: Dajun Ding, Kiyoshi Ueda |
|
After the first workshop of ISWAMP at Dublin in 2011, we are pleased to announce the 2nd workshop of Intense field-Short Wavelength Atomic and Molecular Processes (ISWAMP-2) which will take place in July 20 - 22 , 2013 at Xi’an, China as a satellite meeting of ICPEAC 2013. |
|
ISWAMP-2 is planned for three days, right before ICPEAC 2013, Lanzhou, China, just after VUVX 2013, Hefei, China. The meeting is expected to attract AMO scientists from all over the world, who are working at EUV and X-ray FELs and in the apposite theoretical fields, providing a forum for this growing community of people. And it is also designed to associate theory, experimental methods, novel results and applications of high harmonic generation (HHG) and attosecond science, which will open new ideas for intense UV and X-ray sources. The small-scale format of around 100 participants will be retained in order to facilitate exchanges and informal discussions among participants. |
|
Presentations will include plenary talks, invited talks and contributed talks as well as one poster session. All topics for ISWAMP-2 will be within the studies related to the atomic and molecular processes in intense, short-wavelength optical field, as follows: |
|
1. Excitation, ionization and fragmentation in intense EUV and X-ray fields |
2. Non-linear processes in EUV and X-ray |
3. Developments in short-wavelength free electron lasers |
4. Developments in HHG-attosecond light sources |
5. Instrumentation for ISWAMP |
6. New approaches to intense UV and X-ray generation |
